Free Virtual Tutoring Available for K-12 Students Through Nebraska SMART
Springfield Platteview Community Schools would like to remind families that our students continue to have access to free, high-quality virtual tutoring through Nebraska SMART (Success Made Accessible through Rural Tutoring).
Nebraska SMART has been supporting K-12 students for some time now, and we encourage families to take advantage of it — especially as we head into the final stretch of the Spring 2025 semester.
What is Nebraska SMART?
Nebraska SMART is a virtual tutoring program designed for K-12 students in rural Nebraska. Tutoring is provided by teacher education candidates from Chadron State, Peru State, and Wayne State Colleges, covering core subjects like English, math, science, and social studies.
Who Can Use It?
All K-12 students in our district are eligible, thanks to our membership in the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association (NRCSA). If your child needs a little extra support, this is a great way to get it — at no cost to families.
Spring 2025 Tutoring Hours
Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday, 3:30–7:30 PM, and will run through May 7, 2025. Services will pause for the summer and resume in the fall.
