We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Megan Hanson has been offered the position of Principal at Springfield Elementary. Mrs. Hanson, currently an Administrative Intern (Assistant Principal) in Millard, brings a wealth of experience to this new role, including her time as an instructional facilitator, interventionist, and elementary teacher. Her background and passion for education make her an excellent fit for leading Springfield Elementary into the future.

As we move forward, we will work closely with Mrs. Hanson to ensure a smooth transition. There will also be opportunities for families to meet her and learn more about her vision for our school. The Board of Education officially approved Mrs. Hanson’s appointment on March 12, and she will begin her new role as Principal on July 1, 2025.

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Hanson to the team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our school community.

At the same time, we want to express our gratitude to Dr. Heneger for her 10 years of dedicated leadership at Springfield Elementary. As she steps into her new role as Superintendent at Centura Public Schools, we thank her for all she has done for our students, staff, and community. Her legacy will continue to inspire us all.
