Celebrating Excellence at Our Annual Employee Awards Banquet

We had the privilege of gathering for our annual Employee Awards Banquet—a cherished tradition where we recognize and celebrate the incredible individuals who make a lasting impact in our schools and community.

Among the evening’s highlights was the presentation of three major annual awards:

  • Karla Stolzer, of Platteview High School, was named our 2025 Outstanding Classified Staff Member of the Year for her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering support to students and staff alike.

  • Meryl Brown, from Westmont Elementary School, received the honor of Outstanding Certified Teacher of the Year, in recognition of her passion for teaching and her commitment to educational excellence.

  • The Platteview Social Society Club was awarded the Outstanding Community Service Award, celebrating their efforts to strengthen community ties and support school programs through consistent and meaningful service.

In addition to these honors, we proudly acknowledged this year’s retirees: Dan Craney, Cynthia Hudson, and Arlis Scanlan. Congratulations on your years of dedication, hard work, and the positive impact they’ve had on generations of students!

The evening was a heartfelt celebration of excellence, service, and community spirit. Congratulations to all award recipients and honorees!
