Good nutrition fuels the brain. That’s why we provide our students with reasonably priced, nutritious meal choices at each of our school locations.
We work with food service management companies to offer nutritious, child-friendly meals that cater to different tastes while meeting strict regulatory standards. Our school menus feature freshly made rolls and other delicious dishes prepared daily, as well as locally sourced fruits and vegetables and other healthy options to promote a conducive learning environment.
FOOD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
All Springfield Platteview Schools use MBA Cafe to manage all aspects of our food services program. MBA Cafe is integrated with our PowerSchool student information system to make student data seamlessly available while serving breakfast and lunch, and when generating reports.
HOW TO PAY FOR MEALS
We continue to partner with e-Funds for Schools as an online tool for parents who wish to electronically provide funds for their students who purchase breakfast and lunch items at school. The move to MBA Cafe requires parents to associate each of their students with their eFunds account because there is no longer a single-family account available. Click here for a step-by-step guide for parents to get started with e-Funds for SPCS.
MEAL PRICING FOR SCHOOL LUNCHES 2024-2025

We participate in the National School Lunch Program to provide meals at no or reduced cost to students who qualify. If your family needs assistance, please apply—because no child should ever go hungry.
