School Enrollment & District Boundaries
Whether you’re a new neighbor or just beginning your education, we’re happy to welcome new members to the Springfield Platteview Community Schools family. Please contact the district office if you have any questions about our registration process.
Students living within district boundaries start the registration process by submitting proof of address verification to the district office. The kindergarten roundup/registration process begins at the school level (see above).
The family/guardian can contact Lisa Peterson, executive administrative assistant, by email or call (402) 592-1300. Proof of residence includes one of the following: utility bill (ex. OPPD, water), purchase/lease agreement, bank statement within the last 90 days. After proof of residence has been established, she will share with the parents a secure online enrollment link.
Upon completion, please contact your assigned school at the phone number listed below to discuss enrollment next steps. This could include a certified copy of student’s birth certificate, or documents that are needed at the building level that were not uploaded in the PowerSchool Enrollment Portal.

In accordance with Nebraska state law, and for the safety of our students, all students must submit written proof of their immunization status. Nebraska requires children to be immunized against the following diseases:
- Diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis
- Polio
- Measles, mumps, and rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (chicken pox)
Kindergarten registration is available for children who are five years of age on or before July 31 of the calendar year of the school year for which the child is seeking admission.
If your child meets the age requirement, please contact the elementary school to begin the kindergarten roundup/registration process.
