The Mission of the Alumni and Friends Society is to facilitate outreach and engagement with alumni and friends of the district in order to build community, create philanthropic opportunities and promote school pride.

This holiday season, we’re excited to launch a 30-Day “Heart of a Trojan” Donation Drive, an initiative designed to give back to our community while supporting students and Alumni who demonstrate exceptional dedication.

Alumni & Friends is about community, neighbors, friends, and fellow Trojans right here at home. That’s why we are leading this community-wide campaign. The Alumni & Friends Society is kickstarting the drive by matching the first $1,000 in donations, doubling the impact of every gift! We warmly welcome additional contributions from alumni, friends, and community members, because every donation strengthens our community and supports deserving students. By providing this match, Alumni & Friends are inspiring the entire community to join in. Together, we can make an even greater impact.

Here’s how your gift makes a difference:

• Helping families in need: Your contributions support our local food bank, ensuring families right here in our community have what they need this season. The food bank currently serves 112 families across Cass and Sarpy Counties and is also saving toward a building fund for its anticipated new location in late 2026.
• Supporting a Trojan(s) in need: Donations provide financial assistance to a PHS student who demonstrates dedication, responsibility, and drive, helping them continue to pursue their education and goals with confidence.

   

How we identify students:

PHS staff and counselors will confidentially nominate students who:

• Show focus and dedication in academics and activities
• Face financial challenges that may limit opportunities
• Would benefit from targeted support to achieve their goals

   

The Alumni & Friends committee will review nominations to ensure support goes to students who will gain the greatest impact.
