TeamMates Mentoring: Now at Springfield Platteview Community Schools
We’re excited to announce that TeamMates Mentoring is here!
TeamMates is a school-based mentoring program that connects students with caring adult mentors to help them reach their full potential. Through weekly 30–45 minute meetings during the school day, mentors and mentees build meaningful, lasting relationships centered on encouragement, conversation, and personal growth.
Sometimes it’s as simple as talking. Sometimes it’s working on a project or playing a game. But every week, it’s about one thing: showing up.
Follow what Springfield Platteview TeamMates is doing on our Facebook and Instagram pages to stay connected and see the impact in action!
Our Mission
TeamMates aims to positively impact the world by inspiring students to reach their full potential through mentoring. One consistent adult relationship can make a powerful difference in a child’s life, academically, socially, and emotionally.
Be Inspired. Become a Mentor.
Mentors are safe, caring, non-judgmental adults who commit to being there each week to listen, guide, and encourage. And the impact goes both ways — over 83% of mentors report feeling more engaged in their personal and professional lives as a result of participating.
If you’ve ever thought about giving back in a meaningful way, this is it.
