Welcome New Foundation Board Member: Travis Jacott
The Springfield Platteview Education Foundation is thrilled to welcome Travis Jacott as one of our newest board members, elected on August 21.
A proud Platteview High School graduate from the class of 2010, Travis attended the University of Nebraska Omaha and Creighton School of Law, where he completed a dual-degree program with a J.D., M.B.A., and M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk for Adams & Sullivan, P.C., L.L.O. in Papillion, later joining the firm as an associate attorney. In January 2024, Travis became partner and vice president, overseeing both legal practice and firm operations.
Travis is deeply connected to the Springfield Platteview community. “[I am/We are] forever grateful for being able to grow up and receive an education in the Springfield Platteview School District. It truly has been a blessing for me and my family,” Travis shared. His daughter is a student at SPCS this year, and two more children will attend the district in the future.
In joining the Foundation Board, Travis hopes to contribute his legal expertise, nonprofit board experience, and fresh ideas to help advance the Foundation’s mission. He is particularly excited to support programs that directly benefit students and the district, from KidsCare to upgrades at Salberg Field, and to help shape a strategic plan for continued growth.
“Being part of an organization that makes a positive impact on the district and connecting more with the Springfield Platteview community—alumni, faculty, and local businesses—is something I’m excited to be part of,” Travis said.
Please join us in welcoming Travis Jacott to the Springfield Platteview Education Foundation Board!
