When to Keep your Child Home: Sick or Not?
One of the most common questions families face is whether to send a child to school when they are not feeling their best. We understand that this decision is not always easy.

Keep Your Child Home If They Have:
In general, students should stay home if they are experiencing:
- Fever (100.4°F or higher)
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Symptoms of a contagious illness
- Conditions that prevent them from participating in learning
It Is Usually OK to Send Them If:
Students can typically attend school if they have:
- Mild cold symptoms
- No fever
- Energy to participate in class activities
